Winners will be given the opportunity to present their poster in-person at the Residents' Assembly & Medical Student Symposium on August 12.

2026 Midwest Medical Student Symposium - Event Recap

Nearly 400 residents, medical students, residency faculty and leaders from Ohio ACEP gathered for the Ohio ACEP joint Residents’ Assembly & Medical Student Symposium on August 12, 2026. Close to 80 medical students gathered for the Midwest Medical Student Symposium which included presentations preparing the students in attendance for a possible future in Emergency Medicine. The event also included a residency fair with 18 Midwest residency programs showcasing their programs and meeting with medical students looking to match with EM residency programs.
